Social Moth

Congrats to the Tiny Fury Games team and their new project Social Moth. They got to kick off the USC Games Expo on IGN!

Social Moth is a dialogue-heavy game that involves navigating the world and acquiring healthy interaction skills as players learn to communicate with others around them. It was an honor to be part of this game (as the voice of the silkworm, Bombyx) that has such a beautiful underlying purpose. Thanks to Ben and Anabell and the entire Social Moth team!

Cremeschnitte

Congratulations to filmmaker and visual artist Yan Jin on the US premiere of her film Cremeschnitte at the Oxford Film Festival in March. I was the narrator for the film, and it is a fascinating labyrinth of a journey.

About the film:

"A Sebaldian visual essay, interweaving time and space...."

"Cremeschnitte is a video essay exploring the dialectical relationship between language, culture and geopolitics, how language is constructed and restructured by culture, as well as how cultural heritage transcends the border and constraints within ethnic or social groups, meanwhile questioning how a borderline is drawn on a map where there’s no physical dividing line. By introducing Cremeschnitte as a metaphor connecting different countries of different backgrounds and becoming a survivor of the turbulent history, the narrative blurs the boundary between fiction and nonfiction."
